Advance throttle grip until marks on throttle cam are aligned with center of cam follower roller. See Figure 2-13.

At this point, the throttle valve must be closed, and the roller touching the cam. If not, adjust as follows: Loosen screw on throttle shaft (Figure 2-13 insert) and slide up or down to make adjustment. Tighten screw, and check operation.
